Raco Management Company Ltd. Shipping Policy
Raco Management Company Ltd. ships OEM rust-free southern truck parts to customers throughout Canada. Due to the size and weight differences between our products, shipping methods and costs vary depending on the item and destination.
Small & Standard-Sized Parts
Smaller items may be shipped directly to the customer's residential or commercial address using an appropriate parcel or freight carrier. Available shipping options and costs will depend on the product and destination.
Large & Oversized Parts
Large products such as truck boxes, truck beds, doors, bumpers, and other oversized body parts are generally shipped by freight carrier.
Because freight costs vary significantly based on the size of the shipment and delivery location, customers may be required to request a freight quote before completing their purchase.
For certain large shipments, delivery may be made to the freight carrier's nearest available depot for customer pickup. Commercial delivery may also be available to businesses with appropriate unloading facilities.
Residential delivery, liftgate service, and other special delivery requirements may result in additional charges.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are determined based on factors including:
- Product dimensions and weight
- Customer location
- Residential or commercial delivery
- Freight depot availability
- Liftgate or other special delivery requirements
Where a shipping rate cannot be calculated directly through the website, customers can contact Raco for a freight quote.
Shipping Locations
We currently ship throughout Canada. Customers in remote or difficult-to-service areas should contact us to confirm available shipping options.
Processing & Transit Times
Processing and transit times vary depending on the product, destination, and freight carrier. Large freight shipments may require additional preparation and handling time.
Once a shipment has been arranged, customers will be provided with available shipment or tracking information where applicable.
1. Freight Delivery & Inspection
Customers receiving freight shipments should inspect the shipment carefully at the time of delivery.
If there is visible damage to the packaging or product, the damage should be documented with photographs and noted with the carrier before accepting or signing for the shipment whenever possible.
Any shipping damage should also be reported to Raco as soon as possible so we can assist with the freight claim process where applicable.
2. Questions About Shipping
Customers who would like a shipping estimate or have questions about delivery options can contact Raco Management Company Ltd. before purchasing.
3. Product Testimonials
At the moment, we don't have any formal customer testimonials collected for specific products.
Could you clarify exactly what you're looking for here? For example, are you looking specifically for reviews from previous customers who purchased truck boxes, doors, fenders, etc., or are you looking for more general testimonials about customers' experiences with Raco?
Once I know what format and type of testimonial you need, I can determine how we should approach collecting them.
4. About Us Questionnaire
The questionnaire has now been fully completed with information about Raco's history, brand, mission, products, target customers, goals, and the direction we want to take the company.
There is quite a bit of history behind Raco dating back to 1980, so I made sure to provide detailed information that can be used to build out the About Us page and overall brand messaging.
5. Part Finder App
I have contacted Digirockett regarding the Part Finder app and the access issue you encountered.
I've asked them to clarify how the app was originally set up, whether it is a private/custom app, and what access, credentials, permissions, or files need to be provided to you.
I'll forward their response or provide the necessary information once I hear back from them.
Regarding the duplicate products and the proposed grouping/filter structure, I think it may be best for us to hop on a call and go through this together before making any changes.
I understand the general issue you're describing, particularly with products that interchange across multiple year ranges, makes, and models. However, I'm not completely on the same page yet regarding how the proposed two-year-segment solution would work in practice and how it would affect the way our inventory is displayed and filtered.
Our inventory can get fairly complicated because one physical part may fit several different Chevrolet and GMC models with slightly different year ranges. At the same time, we may have multiple physical units of that same part in inventory, each with different colors, conditions, prices, and photos. I want to make sure we distinguish between duplicate listings created for fitment/search purposes and separate physical parts that we actually have in inventory.
Rather than risk restructuring the products in a way that creates fitment or inventory issues later, I think it would be much easier if you could walk me through the proposed setup on a call. We can look at a few real products together, clarify how the filters and variants would work, and come up with the best solution from there.
